As I run toward your shadow
I hoped you'd hear me yell
Your sweet sweet name
Did you run faster, I couldn't tell
But soon your shadow disappeared
I still had hope that I'd see you again
That you wouldn't run away
That you wouldn't go back to him
Weeks later, I never saw her smile
Let alone her face
Always had her back to me
I knew then, a futile race
Gave up all hope and left
Climbed a tower to get to you
Found another whose love was pure
Found anther whose love was true
Embraced happily by love
Never again will i have to cry
Just embrace me again
And forever we'll fly
Soaring, forever soaring
Slowly fall, it's gravity
Falling so fast, don't notice the ground
Open my eyes, you're all I see
