LOVE LOST;; LOST LOVE

Day by day he says the words,
that he promised never to say,
and she has mixed emotions;

Her face smiled,
as the tears corrupted her cheeks.
Her mascara,
is making a path of her memories.

She’s looking back on those days..
where he held her,
hoping she can fix this.
But she damaged his heart,
and it’s broken.
It’s like an unfamiliar puzzle,
and the pieces don’t fit.

The clock is ticking by...
as she is sorting her thoughts,
trying to make them all fit together,
but she thinks it doesn’t make sense anymore.
She’s sorry for what she’s done.
But he has built up a wall,
and he could never forgive her.

So she thinks this is goodbye;;
and shes hopes he writes her a song.
