More overdue bills to pay
Another smoke and one more beer
On my face a vacant stare
The chime of money down the drain
As my bank account feels the pain
It's just another rat race day
And still the bills I have to pay

Sometimes we do things to temporarily take us away from reality - but when we come back, what we left is still there.
And we do deal with it.
