He sat on a bench pealing a parrot
A man dressed smartly to peal a parrot
He carved off the feathers, wings and beak
It had the most polished skin
Its bloodied beak began to speak
the writing that beginned with he
and ends with the second beak
The beak repeated the carving
with the lips of Anne Boleyn
The city slept and then it didn't
and pinkish sky and then it wouldn't
he wished to be a more casual man
but he couldn't
