These words are meaningless
Because they belong to no one.
"You live in my heart."
"You have consumed my mind."
I close my eyes just to dream of you.
In the darkness I find you.
Tricks of the night.
A refraction of light
I see You.
A work of art,
Sculpted beautifully into the garden of my life.
As the pale moonlight plays against your silky skin,
You turn and look my way.
Stars of sapphire shake my soul.
The earth moves.
The moon is tucked away.
I try to run to you before it's too late.
I'm never fast enough.
I fear I'll never feel the warmth of your touch.
