The other side

Contributed by shelby on Friday, 18th January 2008 @ 11:04:24 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The other side of rolling mountains, do we ponder what is there?
The other side of meadows lush with waterfalls cascading over clover dell.
The other side of the road, what mystery lies just beyond?
The other side of the pearly gates where loved ones have since passed on.

We often ponder the other side no-matter what other side it may be.
Often times not realizing how beautiful the side we sit on but do not really see.
Later the new “other” side seems to lose its diamond sheen.
Rolling hills and the mysteries beyond are not all that perfect now it seems.

When we take those we love for granted not taking the time to care.
There comes a day when things have changed there is no love or forgiveness left to share.
The other side of lonely is just exactly what lonely entails.
What is home without those dear to fill its lonesome walls?

The other side of harsh words would reflect a better tone.
The other side of hurt feelings would be a shoulder on which to cry.
The other side of separation would be unity, laughter and fun.
To bad the other side for many falls by waysides with the setting sun.
