Where The Grass Is Greener

tucked away in another land
next to pure white grains of sand
miles away from you and me
sits a beautiful palace on the sea
cries of laughter without a care
between breaths of salty air
are heard echoing among
roped laundry lined long
no band-aids here because all wounds will heal
and never will you starve without a meal
no women waiting by the phone
as husbands in pubs drink all alone
no mailman accompanied by barking dog
no driving home among midnight fog
the grass really is greener here
this place thats neither far or near
its right inside you if you can make it real.
