Dear Friend

Contributed by ki on Wednesday, 16th January 2008 @ 01:48:47 AM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

Dear Friend
It's been a long time
But never does a day pass
That you don't cross my mind
There's so much more than memories
That dance inside my head
I wish I would've listened
But I chose not to instead
When all you did was guide me
And give me light to see
I stayed inside my litttle shell
Absorbed in misery
I forgot to say I love you
And tell you everyday
Just how much you meant to me
Before you went away
