  Social

Forgotten Society.

Topic: anguished

Wherever I walk
I walk with pride
And whenever I talk
I tell it straight up
I got nothing to hide
So nevermind what you think you heard
The absolute truth is in my word
What you see is what you get
Nothing but real
With nothing to regret
I roam this earth in an original form
Captivate eyes, take the world by storm
Whatever I do, I do for me
And I hate to be selfish
But that's just how it has to be
Because I won't make the same mistakes I did in the past
I learned the hard way that the nice folks finish last
And I'm so tired of the world and it's constant hypocrisy
That I choose to stand alone and fill my own self prophecy
And it's not about anger, it's not about hate
I just have to forget society to create my own fate
A destiny composed without hurt or despair
Without wasting my emotions on people who just don't care
I refuse to be broken down or spill anymore of my tears
And all the heartbreaks in my life
Have made me wise beyond my years
Perhaps colder in my soul
But years of mistreatment really takes its toll
Now my choice is made and my heart is set
I have a destiny to create
And a society to forget.
