I wonder if you've caught me staring at you
especially from the side
I wonder if you noticed I avoided
those prying questions about you
expecialy when you looked me in the eye
"This is my friend," again and again
I repeated as if it mattered
Friends never were safe from me,
you've experienced the latter
So are these feelings fo ryou hopeless
or are you just a hopless romantic?
Need your knights a little shinier
reservations tinier
someone to sweep you off your feet
with obsession frantic?
