A warm summer day
With the sun burning blind
All hope falls away
No clue who I'd find
At the beginning
doubt ate me whole
Slightly considering
Is there room in my soul
Doubt seemed to grow
Left with warm in my heart
Went to my happiness
No idea it'd fall apart
Weeks passed
No happiness in sight
Then a flicker in the distance
A seemingly pointless plight
But that flicker grew
Into a fiery flame
Seeming to engulf
But keeping me sane
The fire contained
Harness its power
Happiness at last
Love'll bloom like a flower
Inevitable winter came
And the doubt grew once more
Others wither and die up ahead
But still no clue for what was in store
The hope warmed it
And the season seemed summer
Others seemed surprised
We're left in blissful wonder
