A Prayer

Lord, my life it seems so crazy
And I wonder where You are.
But as I pray, Your still small voice
Lets me know that You’re not far.

I struggle with so many things
The weight just seems so much.
But then You reach to comfort me
With Your gentle, loving touch.

Sometimes I just can’t handle
All that seems to come my way.
But then Your Spirit nudges me
The answer is to pray.

And as I let You lead me
Down the path that You have laid.
My life is so much better
And its one I wouldn’t trade.

Thank you for Your precious love
I t helps me realize.
That I am someone special
When I’m looking through Your eyes.

What a beautiful poem, so well written and with such deep meaning. A prayer is indeed good for a friend in need. I can relate to every word. Thank you for your great work.
