Walking head high, feet steady paced
La-ti-da-ing her way through summer's hectic race
No worries, nor cares, happily lacking woes
Reminding herself, stay disconnected from foes
But at this moment, she finally looks down
Much surprise, she trips hard, yet floats to the ground
With grace, she fell, into unexpected soft
Soon they danced and twirled, the trip soaring aloft
Distance came, hand-in-hand with Fall
She thought of him often, yet rarely spoke at all
Yearning, sweating, trying to stay tough
Unfocused, without, thoughts never enough
Embracing her pillows, falsifying his touch
Never realizing she'd long for him ever this much
Reunited, she came, hesitating her kiss
Everything she thought, reluctant to dismiss
Frolicking merrily, never skipping a beat
Succumbing to her heart, admitting defeat
One night of tears, them petrified by law
His, too, defeated, coming, she never saw
When they tripped, they fell, harder than before
The Earth, never touched, for tripping hearts soar...
