Dressed to Dream

Picking up the scattered pieces of clothing,
Leading from my bed to my closet that morning,
Putting them on, taking them off, they both seem,
The same. Either way, I’m dressed to dream.
Everything is packed, ready for a vacation,
Into my mind, some inward contemplation.
My brain is bored, it doesn’t want to stay,
In one place, where will it take me today?
As I fumble around, asking this question,
It answers itself, I arrive at my destination,
Seeming familiar, with it’s lovely shore,
I swear, I’ve dreamt this dream before.
