Your obsession is all-consuming
Your fate chosen by you
If you fill the world with misery
You will feel it too
Too late for you to realise
The damage you have done
I want to make you face up to it
Just to see how far you would run.
Should I pity you, envy You
In spite of how I feel?
Your lies and lechery add up nicely
Sweet victory is sealed.
I know it's all against me
I've not yet fought, but lost,
But I keep the love which you
Would throw away at any cost.

| your writing has such an angry, dark feel to it yet at the same time it feels kind of sad. you really have a way with shorter poems. some times i find them lacking when others write in this form but you capture so much in such little amount of words... i like it... |
