obsession

Your obsession is all-consuming
Your fate chosen by you
If you fill the world with misery
You will feel it too
Too late for you to realise
The damage you have done
I want to make you face up to it
Just to see how far you would run.
Should I pity you, envy You
In spite of how I feel?
Your lies and lechery add up nicely
Sweet victory is sealed.
I know it's all against me
I've not yet fought, but lost,
But I keep the love which you
Would throw away at any cost.

your writing has such an angry, dark feel to it yet at the same time it feels kind of sad. you really have a way with shorter poems. some times i find them lacking when others write in this form but you capture so much in such little amount of words... i like it... |
