Alone here in my corner
This corner of my life
A small dark speck is growing
Spreading like the night
As it grows so does a voice
A black voice its small at first, innocent
With dark tounges it wispers
A language I wish not to understand
But slowly it is revealed
Word by word I know what is said
And this voice did become my friend
It's thoughts realeased in my head
It was not only thoughts
The voice had a will
It was maligent
I cared not but for its quota to full
Many did pass by my hand
It was forced by the voice
The disembodyed master
With it I plead but to its will I have no choice
Once I had a life
Once I had a choice
But it left me that night
For salvation, my voice
Dimly I am aware
That what I do is wrong
But I am ordered by a higher power
This power made me strong
Others can try to change me
I dare you to try
But the voice wont lose its servant
By its will you'll die.

Sure a little weird perhaps, but still brilliant throughout. Gets a rhyme scheme towards the end which gives it a good flow to end on. A very good read. |
