after midnight
on any
given evening,
in no particular
order,
poets,
madmen
and drunks
are all
looking
either
for mercy,
inspiration
or
just a
good movie
on tv.

I liked this, but it leaves me wondering where I fall on your list.
Then I realized I'm all three. |

how many is it now? 652 channels, and nothing on worth watching? direct tv, dish network, cable and the only interesting show is on animal planet?
oh and
"poets,
madmen
and drunks"
can sometimes be the same person, right?

short and simple, i think that's where the genius lies in it.
Also as a mad,night-owl, drunk poet it appeals to me as well
