Words of Weary.

Topic: AmericanTragedy

In a land full of immigrants. Where the original lands people have been cut down to a minority.
Where hypocracie rules, and human rights are just a matter of opinion.
Where the only thing that really counts is the amount in your wallet.
Where one mans gain is another mans pain.
Where ridicule has become a local name.
Where judgement is judged by the keepers of injustice.
Where peace and serenity is only found deep in ones thoughts.
Where life is projected on the big screen.
Where for some the pale horse is the only real dream.
Draw the sword against creed,we'll make them believe.
In the thick of the fight, someone must bleed.
Why must we talk of black and white?
The genetic way will end this strife.
Homo and Hetero will be no more.
They'll just be androids at your door.
The state monopoly leaps past go.
Collects a lump from the revenue flow.
Just a few more tanks before we go.
Did someone mention,over throw?

I'm quite weighed down from this whole show.
Will someone please, just take me home...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
