Snowflakes
drifting in soft breezes, world dusted in silent wonder.
White gowns dressing the pine’s,
bowing to the her majesty of beauty.
Within the silence of the world,
storm brings rest to the landscape.
The river flows beneath the ice.
Snow angels dance on dusted pathways.
In the calm of the next storm,
the path is covered, snow inside the shoes.
The wind begins to blow,
soon the flurries will come stronger than before.
Just the snowflakes and I.
