A Sorrowful Note Played Out Loud

Contributed by Willofree on Friday, 28th December 2007 @ 01:11:15 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

A sorrowful tear forms.
A spontaneous, "Oh God!" prayer seeks expression.
The heartfelt pain of a loss forms in our minds,
and loneliness breeds a painful recollection in our souls.
A tenderness, not often expressed, sneaks out unsuppressed.
We search for a quiet place to hide, and retreat somewhere
inside, too embarressed for someone to see us cry.
A loving feeling of God's presence exists in these special moments in time.
An awareness forms that few memories can identify.
Not many good experiences being created to hold special through-out eternity.
Life's pace robs us of more intimate connection;
playful interludes, laughter and serenity
to form a heartfelt experience we can identify as "mine".
Highs and goodbyes seem trivial upon reflection, indicative of our fast paced lives.
The remaining sentiment retrieves those emotions trapped inside.
The heartfelt tenderness floods our senses.
Emotions of love and caring to the outside world, report.
A playful memory manifests in our sublime, spiritual connection.
You realize how much love you experience,
but no one else knows how you feel.
These moments of revelation and truth bring sentimentality,
which is the essence of who we are.

Oh Will .. how utterly inspiring this piece is. There is so much
hope in those last words. I think you've accomplished your
attempt. You captured so much more than just inspiration in this.

When we remember blessings, our whole world moves into another
realm. And hope rises so high, our spirit soars in the path that trails
in it's wake. Serenity is grand.

Great post, my friend. Hope your holidays are beautiful and your
New Year amazing!! 2008 is going to be wonderful!

~Breezy

Beautiful read, Will. Only someone, such as yourself, could have penned such a truthful and emotional piece in the elegance that you have. Thank you for sharing.
Peace and hugs,
Laura
