An apple as a mans reflection and a fish winking behind the mirror

When I look in the mirror I see an apple
What brain does an apple have?
I fear a fish is behind it all
A fish thats wide and tall
"Why a fish?" his baffled wife
"Why not? I do not want to live a fishes life
a gift of an apple given
where a fishes piece of mind is hidden"
