You People

Topic: goodbyepoetry

i grew up happy and i really was because deep inside in knew
that life was good which i was sure of as much as the ocean is blue
things went well and people were caring
i developed kindness and a sense of sharing
i got kinder and better as a person day by day
but as i aged and i looked back, i see myself and say
i was naive i was untaught to think that they were nice
when in fact they were ogres and really cold as ice
i was the nicest that you could find,
i'd take a bullet for a stranger
but although i saw i was still blind
and lived in worlds of danger
i needed help and as they saw this they would run and hide
when just last night i helped them out in the cold and darkness outside
i help them move and babysit so they could walk right through me
i watch their back and cut them slack to get one guarantee
they lose respect for me and treat me worse I DONT KNOW WHY!
i would be crying and they'd make it worse then lock me in a closet to die
the more i'd help, the worse they get and team up on me to laughter
then come up close and ask me if i could help them right after
WHAT NERVE THEY HAVE I SHOULD KILL THEM ALL
I GAVE THEM SWEAT AND BLOOD AND THEY DONT CATCH MY FALL
I'D CHASE AFTER THEM AND HIT A WALL!!!......
......................................................................................
but it's quite alright now i know the world
these people that we call human
they made it clear they unfurled
im now at my acumen
i was once was a freeman
now they've made me a demon
i lost all trust and its a bust
because to me you people are unjust
