The Spoiled Actress

Contributed by Franciswolf on Monday, 24th December 2007 @ 08:34:37 AM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

Bet you use to comb your hair in a two piece mirror
Bet you use to show up late and no one cared
Well those days are long gone, long gone
There’s no more of your fun, your fun

I knew you, you were always around
Waiting for someone to notice
I remember last year when
We were all trying to disappear
And they caught us, lifting up our mouths

Well smiles are denials
Wrapped in hanging frowns
I lost my destruction and now I’m bound
By endless deductions, money rolled ones
I use to be handsome now I have fun

And I bet you use to be a ballerina
And your mom brought a ***** camcorder
I bet your brother bought walnut M&M’s in the hallway
Just to chew it down yeah,

I knew you, red lined eyes and baby blues
You were the one fixing the cue cards
With commas and grammar, we all couldn’t’ stand there

Well those days are long gone, long gone
There’s no more of your fun, your fun

Stop trying to be
Start trying not to be
Here comes a monologue,
Introduction sentence, pausing thoughts
Who what where’s and blah de blahs

Here comes my line in and out
“I thought I came to conquer but I figured it out”

Yeah I bet you use to comb your hair in a two piece mirror
Bet you use to show up late and no one cared
