THAT CHRISTMAS FEELIN AGIN

Contributed by emystar on Saturday, 22nd December 2007 @ 04:28:15 PM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

The Christmas Cottage

My eyes get misty when remiss
No better feelin than this
My heritiege runs deeper than deep
Luv's door makes memory's keep

Jus communing with spirits 'round
Life's joy of Christmas found.
Jus gettin that Christmas feelin agin
That Christmas feelin agin

Luv lingers in heart's hall
Lift me higher than mountain tall
Jesus gave us all we need
In mortal life he planted seed.

On his birthday we beem
Heaven touching Earth, it seems
As Winters chill lingers to remind
In Spring things will bloom in time.

A warm cozie fire burns brite
Takes back on Jesus birthday nite.
Born in a manger may moons ago
Then he died to save souls.

Happy, happy birthday
Jesus
it's emy

Happy, happy luv and holidays to all.

Very nice. It kind of reminds me of the way I used to feel about Christmas when I was a kid. And truly it is Jesus' birthday the reason why we celebrate Christmas.

~Happy Holidays~

As always Emy, you write from your heart. Im sorry so long aways and long time not here, but you are a good soul, as God already knows :) I too wish you a wonderful Christmas, and a good 2008 New Year, for in his wish we have faith, in his word always we have strength. I liked the last one well enough to read another of yours and I actually liked this one even better. What a lovely memory of Christmas, again to me, it sounds like a song, a Christmas Carol. I just enjoyed it.
Congrats again
Kay

as your flows lift me
