Reality or Dream

Contributed by brew on Friday, 21st December 2007 @ 02:25:06 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

I long to be loved
I Long to loveback
I want happiness
I wish it back

Cant it be for all?
I cant answer, but hope
Its not for all, but one can wish

Will love find all
Or give up when doesnt feel?,.....Right

One is lost for answers

SIGHS

sweetie .. sometimes people get lucky and it happens quick and early .. others,
(like myself) have to wait a bit in order to feel that glorious bliss that comes
in sharing a true and deep love for one another. But it WILL happen, hun. Never
give up hoping and searching. The answers you seek will be found. :)

Hope your Holidays were splendid!

miss you girl. *hugs and hugs*

brew,

Heavy...oh, so heavy. Even those who we think have found it, more often than not, have not. I wrote a song; I think I posted it a long time ago...It's So Sad. I've walked the streets of New York City; I've stood gazing at the Golden Gate; so many people, thinking that they're making love when what they're doing is acting out their hatred of life; it's going down like a double-edged knife, and it hurts so bad; it's so sad; it's just so damn sad.

There have been three women in my life; I thought each time I had found Love, but I hadn't. The pressures have made me stupidly addicted to nicotine! In my journal I have jokingly kidded myself that where I am today, cigarettes are my new wife, my life-long companion, my loving spouse, a entity in my life I can depend on to be there anytime, day or night, always patiently waiting and instantly responsive. Then I take it one step further and smile: Like all the Loves of my life, even she will turn on me in the end!

I can relate big-time to that last word: SIGHS.

People try to be compassionate and sympathetic. They say, cast your bread upon the water, or let the butterfly go and it will return in full measure. All I can say is, time is slip, slip, slipping away and all I have to show for it is soggy bread and empty palms!

You did a superb job using a minimal amount of language to paint a universal landscape.

You are not alone in your wondering.
