i've got mothers intuition and my own backbone
with welcome inuendo i'm feeling warm and u know
all things aside can u breathe all things'll die can u breathe
when this all backs up will u feed urself
u've washed ur hands and i know
these half smiles are my way of saying goodbye
and i know ur the first when no one's on my side
yes and i know, ur the last to say goodnight
these words are waking and between each hour
dark sentimental u say u dig my gifts ah yes
when this breaks down keep me in ur mind
keep it covered no one kills stories like these
i've got mothers intuition and my own backbone
with welcome inuendo i'm feeling warm and u know
all things aside can u breathe all things'll die can u breathe
when this day backs up will u feed urself
