Take this pain rip it from my heart
Carve out another scar tonight
One last goodbye outside in the rain
The last of your belonings to part
Clawing the floor screaming for release
One last kiss as friends hurt deep
My breath is shallow heartbeats fast
Screaming inside for a love unserpassed
In your eyes my reflection has died
Words shattered like crystal glass
Pictures taken down from the wall
Another box of memories to recall
Lightening strikes this fragile soul
I scream out loud you do not hear
No comfort to be found in the rain
Mascara trickles as black as the night
From eyes that once burned bright
One last goodbye you walked away
From a soul left feeling betrayed
