A Visit from an Angel

Contributed by ki on Thursday, 20th December 2007 @ 01:54:33 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I heard an angel sing to me
And looked up to the sky
I saw she had a broken wing
And that she couldn't fly
So i reached out a hand to her
She put her hand in mine
I smiled when i saw her face
And knew she'd be just fine
I held her tight against my chest
As she whispered in my ear
Saying "Please mommy don't be afraid,
Your baby girl is here"
I waited for a single breath
Between all of my tears
A look into that gorgeous face
Was like looking in the mirror
I brushed my hand against her cheek
She did the same to me
"Don't worry mom,Heaven is great
They even have T.V,
I have all that i could ever want
But nothing that i need
Im sorry i left u and dad
It was my destiny"
Then my angel stood in front of me
And kissed me on the cheek
Blown away by all her beauty
So very special and unique
She never really said good-bye
But i knew she had to leave
I never saw her after that
My angel,rest in peace

Hang tuff.
