hopeless miracle

Contributed by apoetswhisper on Sunday, 16th December 2007 @ 09:12:14 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Hopeless miracle

Ponderless wondering of a mind like fragile glass
Life’s pressures a step away from breaking point
The strength with in had faded long ago
Slain by the hand of a fruitless love’s last kiss

Endless desperation to be rescued
No reply!
Disappointment is the order of the day
Served with a hint of bitterness to those who love and have loved

Losing face at the start of every morning
Hopelessly wish life to that corner
Where my brighter day resides
If this could be a miracle
This would be my miracle

Great write!
I can relate to it.
I carries truth as well as leaves much to the imagination.
Well done.

Keep the light on .. (the smallest miracles are the most mighty)

I sense an angst in this that does not want to be there. And I do
relate to that emotion, oh! so well. :) (I think it's called hope).
And yes, regardless of the bitterness we feel, hope will always
reside within. When its heart ceases to beat, we cease to exist.

You have captured the feelings and emotions of hopelessness
wonderfully, even in the hope that swims inside your last
two lines. An excellent articulation of thought.

(hoping I made enough sense for you to catch my drift. )

I like the poem, the belief to cling on to hope; longing for a miracle, in the face of dispair. Thanks for sharing
