Grief

you govern us all and bring on pain
if it were possible you would bring acid rain
oh dear im sorry that i was born that day
but its not my fault what really can i say?
it was us all in fact we lived the lives of ghosts
instead of saving a life, we made a pork roast
its the inevitable the painful madness
bringing broken glass and buckets of sadness
you're drowning countless souls
and smiling at death tolls
you're leading little many kids to a very big lake
how much do you want, how many lives must you take?
i realize now that its not really your fault
we led you through this hell we brought on your assault
the time is coming now for us to make our way
to that quiet place where for eternity we'll stay
