Head over heels in thought
No room to move, my brain tries to abort
Wishing it could move into another one's cranium
One which knows pain, but dwells not on sorrow
Another one's life if even just to borrow
Swollen in places, falling out of the mould
Resisting the urge to adhere and be sold
Although strong in spirit, I'm feeling weak in my soul
Another hurdle to leap, another gulp hard to swallow
It's hard when it's happening, disbelief at disappointment
Evil takes form and is so easily annointed
Further and further were being dragged from one love
To the point of no returning, heads dropped, hung heavy in shame
One day maybe somehow the penny will drop
All people will acknowledge that there is no difference, we are all of the same
And remember they will, how we all came to be
Children of light are the you and me
Just out of wax we're unable to shine
Soon it will come, way down the line
We await and we trust in the persuasion of time.
