Sitting around the tree
No room to move
But oh so full of glee
All 18 smiling
Seeing what Santa brought
Wrapping paper piling
Then it’s out to play
In the back yard
Oh what a day
Sit by the fires glow
As night comes
Watching the sunset show
A Memory is all
And for to blame
Is a family brawl
This Christmas Eve
The 18 will be apart
I surly will grieve

Wow. i can relate to this so well. I'm actually dealing with pretty much the exact same thing, it's pretty hard, so i can definitely feel what you're going through. this was a really good write, and i hope to read more of your stuff soon. |
