We Were

Contributed by matt73 on Sunday, 9th December 2007 @ 05:37:13 PM in AEST
Topic: fictional

There's a sea of lost
minds and a better sway of
blue.
There's a deep of love left
for the deeper weight of
true.

There's a land of lost
memory and a better soil
of brown.
There are gardens of love left
for gardeners to keep
around.

There's a boat of
sail and space,
for two, to
venture forth...

...Here we are,
two and
tempted.

There it swells,
deeper, vaster
and endless.

Here we perpend and
bend ourselves to
wake.

We don't.

We dare.

We were.

I had to read this a couple times. It was just that emotional and passionate. There
is much to love about this. I have been akin to the emotion swimming inside your
words. I can't even describe the beauty surrounding this ... it's like watching a sunset
and basking in the glory of the all the passion caught within.

You've described this so perfectly and left this reader with a tender heart.
An easy enough task, but still such a beautiful emotion of thought. :)

wonderful write!
