Miller sat
at the end of the dock,
fishing.
i asked him
if he’d caught anything
and he said
“nah,
the tide
ain’t right”.
so, i said
“if the tide’s not right,
why are you
sitting there,
fishing?”
and he said
“sometimes
the tide’s right,
and sometimes
it’s not.
but,
you always
gotta fish”.
