Vaporous lights glare at Earth’s cocoon
Blood palpitates
Prosthetic arteries jingle in concavity
Rain paints decay
A portrait of rust
Floods slip through cracks in perfection
Twisted appendages shine brightly
Feigning the sun
Subservience in darkened ideals
Trampled beneath waves
Constructed upon ash
Lights slip through cracks in perfection
Eradication of this seal
What once swaddled us
Stars tortured by replications of their light
Pale atmosphere takes me by the wrist
I begin to drown
Dull Placid Stagnant Vacuous Thin
It envelops me
Like a sea of obscurity
Our barricade to the other side
Asphyxiated vagabonds
Lonely wanderers
Yet how I long to be with them
Between the skies
Darkness erodes the clouds, A violated hue
Black silhouette of our moon,
Obscures the new (It cringes in its hold)
Darkness erodes the clouds, A violated hue
I feel this world’s canvas peeling... and falling through.
