Teach me O Lord in what manner to pray
As I take to my knees at the start of each day.

Show me O Lord how to walk in Your ways
And give me a song in my heart full of praise.

Guide me O Lord through the trials of this life
Help me not to be tempted to fall into strife.

Heal me O Lord when I am hurt and in pain
And let my faith in Your power wax and not wane.

Keep me O Lord in Your strong, loving arms
Protect me from danger, keep me safe from all harm.

Bless me O Lord with Your mercy and grace
And when I cry out to You, please hide not Your face.

Lead me O Lord down Your path that is straight
Though my days may be numbered on You shall I wait.

Love me O Lord and please teach to love
As You watch over me Lord from heaven above.
