nightmares

Nightmares are dreams and they say they cant hurt you. But my nightmares are realality. All my fears come true.

Nightmares are thoughts they say, as they sit there and dream. They dream of candy, money, and girls covered in cream.

Nightmares are of losing friends, and abandonment by family.Well guess what, welcome to my realality.

Nightmares to me are things that happenor will. So when I dream, get ready, cause you will get a chill.

crazie_insane,

Nobody knows the precise mix of emotions another experiences, so it's rather audacious to say, I know how you feel. However, I'm fifty-six years old, two divorces, one and a half nervous breakdowns and chronically depressed since childhood. Up until ten or fifteen years ago, my life's motto was:

Yesterday's dreams are sorrows today;
each lovely thought a gem,
to be soiled and tarnished by tomorrow's reality.

I imagined life to be a long black twisting tunnel and the proverbial light at the end of this tunnel wasn't daylight and fresh air, it was a naked light bulb hanging from an extension cord where the tunnel ended in a wall of solid granite. I believe I qualified as a pessimist.

As bad as it was, I thought my way out. If anyone had told me ten, fifteen years ago, I would die an optimist, I would have thought they were absolutely crazy. But I am. No, not crazy! I'm going to die an optimist!

As crazy and insufferable as this world is, if somebody appears to be in sync with it; you know, successful and in harmony with it; they are the crazy and insufferable ones. The ones who refuse to fit in; the ones this world views as crazy and insufferable, they at least have enough sanity left to recognize an insane world.

Twenty-five or so years ago I wrote a song:

We're running through life, just trying to avoid the pain;
...dodging raindrops in the middle of a tropical hurricane;
and we all, we look kind'a normal cause we're all kind'a going insane.
It's so sad;
it's just so sad;
it's just so damn sad.

Good use of the English language. Effective write.

Don't give up.
