You'll Haunt Me

Contributed by Loende on Sunday, 2nd December 2007 @ 02:26:09 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

You are my touchstone, my feather, my far-reaching love
My rain fall, my moonbeam, my gift from above
In darkness, in agony, you heal my pain
My breathing, my blood flow, my glorious gain

Your heart is imprinted, your scent fills my dreams
The light to my darkness, your whisper, my screams
The seas to my mountains, the rain to my drought
The pen to my parchment, the sense to my doubt

You are the reason I get up each day
The last thing I think of each night as I pray
It's you that I dream of at night in the myst
Your arms that I yearn for, your heat that I miss

You are my touchstone, my feather, my first and last love
My savior, my heart-mate, my prayer from above
And now that it's spoken, now that you know
You'll haunt me forever, but I'll let you go.

Good heavens, Loende... I'm at a loss for words. I had thought the title, author's note and the category that you dropped this in would prepare me for it... but the write itself served to 'un-prepare' me, so to speak. I got lost in this (it's so beautiful) and ran headlong into that last line.

I don't really know what to say... except, this is potent.

Very nice write sounds almost one sided to let go.Just remember there are very different sides to this he may fight but wanted held on to at once. There are many people who hold and this would be even in my cercumstance(sp)and even I lose very powerful loves dreams that may never come true because of tendencies do to those who hold and only wanting the one to hold for the most part being a thirty one year old man.So remember he may want it more than anything but confusion may set it because of bitties and goverment officials like domination for I would be Dominate but submisive but for the most part dominate and if they tend to dominate and you try to dominate for femal domination he may get confused of who is dominating when trying to submit for her feelings as well. There are only some things a man can do in domination and if there are 50 trying to dominate and the one true love tries to dominate and he submits the 50 trying to dominate will cause extream tension or viliont acts to scare her off him not meaning to and him still trying to be dominate over areas but wanting to submit to be submissive to give her a girl feel to feel like a woman and or girl when 50 try to dominate he also my lose her to one of them or something could be caused to her to him to try to stop him from being dominate over any area and being submissive at once could cause extream pain heartach and domination over all is a battlefield. From The Grim Reaper,DevilsPriest KnownAs LORD,Denver L.Jr.

...This was beautiful, one of your best. Its meter and flow, rhyme, it all meld into a praise-worthy poem. It touches the heart.
Do take care,
David

A very depressing piece, i'm at your pain as well, self struggle, anguish, darkness, as i know these to be true... a light can uncover from the dark
