The Love I Once Knew

Change is constant,
In life and love...
So much that,
I'm left looking for answers above...
All I one felt,
All that drew me to you...
Has faded to gray,
The love I once knew...
How I persisted,
Waiting each and every day...
For the slightest glimpse of hope,
Our love would find a way...
Lost as it may be,
Unable to become the same...
Torturous it can be,
Trying to salvage what remains...
Remembering the days,
Friendship was the key...
Each and every day memorable,
Never questioning your love for me...

Nice piece, very puzzling question has been dealt, nothing is permanant, but only the change has permanance or the final reality that rules over the it.
