Losing patience on a whim of a sense of retribution
Sense of sensless violence giving hope in false illusion
I find it hard now to imagine, a way for me to be
Is it really that I'm old, beginning not to see
Time it has walked out and it has left me
Allowing me so easily not to be
Whilst spining in the corner of a circle
I see dark eyes looking squarely back at me
With a glimmer of hope in the blink of one'seye
Once spoken to loudly, now the whisper it's shy
Mean what you say and endure what you're given
For these are the rules, the ones not yet written
Taught through the years by the strength of your tears
That all those around you are transparent and clear
Not once will they listen or attempt even to here
So you'll juat keep on roaming totalling the years
Leaving heartache and sorrow you'll be seen by no one
Yet speak of happiness, flowers you'll be nobody's sun
So live long in the knowledge you're free as can be
And sleep so much better in knowing you're not me

this is ...wow. a show of true brilliance, my friend.
i love the never-ending supply of beautiful lines, that just...ooze wonder.
'sense of senseless..', '...corner of a circle', etc. it's just amazing. truly, i wonder how your mind works. ( meant that in a good way, naturally)
i was just simple astounded as i was reading this. wonderful, amazing, beautiful - just doesn't quite describe it.
