I remember you like it was yesterday...

Contributed by ktbugg on Friday, 7th March 2003 @ 04:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

It’s been awhile since the last time
That my eyes crossed your body but
I still remember you like it was yesterday.
The way your voice made me warm and
How your eyes traveled to the depths of my soul.
Your touch, though I felt it but once
Was greater than any touch I’ve felt before.
Your smile, the way it lit up your face and
How its brightness made my heart shine free.
Your kiss, although I’ve never felt it I
Imagine it to be more heavenly than a God’s embrace.
Your arms, though I’ve only dreamed of lying in them
Could make the entire world feel safe and contented.
Everything about you still ignites desire and
Though I haven’t heard from you in quite some time
I remember you like it was yesterday…
