karma bites

Contributed by Phantomvampyress on Friday, 23rd November 2007 @ 01:09:46 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Things i've said brought everything to a head
to end it all this very night

Turn the pages
black shines light
left me there

I only blame myself
things I've brought from the old shelf

Good inside
lost and lied
shut me out
brown me away so i fade

Karma always makes its way
somewhere today
somehow I fell into the trap of wonderancy by chance

Sew my mouth shut tight
so it don't open to unleash pain
help me stop before I drown inside my own rain

Vampyress Jenni

Jen,
Interesting structure to this piece. I really liked that last stanza, especially the last line...

"help me stop before I drown inside my own rain"

I don't believe wonderancy is a word, though, or is that just a typo?
Great writing, Jennittude. Always full of meaning and life.
Peace, love and hugs,
Laura

Oh how true, the karma doesn't seem to bite others as soon as it should but can come back around to bite us sure enough in a quick fancy......

Helpt me stop before I drown inside my own rain......

Raw and powerful truth there.

I can see the darkness here, I'm aware of these things, so that's why I'm here with the solution, do not despair, for seeking vengeance and equality may be the way, it's not fair so keep going and don't give up yet, but VERY good write

Karma also swallows us whole. I like this piece as it filled me with a sense of your longing and wisdom not to entirely suffer it. Excellent thank you.

peace
