The bridge carries its burden constantly,
The weight constant and relentless
Stress fractures appear with time
Weather and traffic weaken the structure,
The weight increases as does the strain,
The bridge finally collapses,
Falling along with all travelers,
Into the deep, cold water below,
Wet fragments are all that remain,
Never to be whole again

i agree with gribbs. this is the best poem ive read of the night, and im sorry to say that doesnt mean much-but still this is the best of the night. this gives new meaning to bridge over troubled waters =] |
