sophistry.

i tell him
he’s nuts.

he tells me
a sophist
is capable
of clever
formal arguments…

of lying a bit.

evading the truth.

i say
get lost.

he says
poetry’s
sophisticated truth.

i say
you want truth?

you want
poetry?

it’s a hair
on the nipple
of a woman’s breast.

look it up.
