A voice calling in the distance
ehcoes never heard
wisdom lost upon deafened ears
a thought I find absurd
like pearls cast before the swine
and trampled there upon
and so we waste
our time in haste
in wait of the morrows dawn
and so our thoughts like momories
are gathered all in trust
a gesture made in ignorance
for wisdoms lack it must
dare the days that lie before
to repeat again the past
so it is on a dying day
that surely will be our last
