Fistfull of Lies

I got a fist full of lies
It'll burst into the world and defy
what's in my heart. At the very least it'll break the ties
Between me and myself at last.
Beauty of a thousand sunsets has not surpassed
What I have not encompassed.
I know what I tell, I don't tell what I know
I came to the darkness just as the sun seised to glow.
The corpses of my past lie frozen and preserved in the snow.
The ice gleams in the rays of the moon.
The dead will rise all to soon.
Come and see me lie across the frozen lagoon.
I'll reside with the lies I've lost.
Two deadlocked vows is what it costs
To come and see the ground I've lost.
To put yourself in my position
Will put you within a certain condition
When I see the heart's submission.
I tell you not to seek the dead
I want you to keep your head
You'll need it for all that I've said.
The deceased will rise.
Out of their sub-zero demise.
They'll take what they prize.
I'll lay myself down to weep.
A fistfull of lies is what I keep.
Out of the ice they do rise, and together we fall into deep sleep.
