Just how fortunate can one man be
To have a family as mine
To love and care any hour of day
To dote, to hold, to pine
I try to pledge my best to them
As any man would do
To care for them, provide for them
But sometimes come off as a shrew
A daughter full of sunshine
A son so quick so bright
A wife none other can compare
Has me living in a brighter light
Each day that I am here
Walking this forsaken earth
These three will be my salvation
And fill my mind with mirth
