Eighteen years have come and gone
More beautiful every day
The wonders of a teenage fem
Engross my mind to stay
It seems like only yesterday
This child of tears and joy
Was playing drums on tricycle seats
In awe of a brand new toy
To stop all time, and not go on
A fathers wish procure
But there she goes, to live her life
A woman so proud, so sure
