Broken Child's Cry

Contributed by Shadows_In_The_Darkness on Saturday, 17th November 2007 @ 07:24:24 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Every time you do this my heart breaks into pieces,
How many more admissions and releases?

The slightest thing changes you to someone I don’t know,
I’m sick of you never going with the flow.

How could you be oblivious to your mental disease?
I’m begging you to get help, please!

It was always hard to cope growing up your kid,
You made sure we had this nasty truth that we hid.

If you didn’t use any of us for attention,
You’d find a new way to create tension.

I wish I could tell you the damage this has done,
But I can’t be responsible when you come undone.

I wish I could tell your Mother how much she destroyed you,
But she’d just say it wasn’t true.

For so long we’ve all tried to live with a Mom who can’t deal,
After so many years of hurt, I’m ready to heal.

Why do you have this need to be center stage?
Why do you hold so much rage?

I want to help you; I want you to get rid of this pain!
I want you to stop always acting so insane!

We want you back; we miss our Mother.
Think about me, my sister and brother.

Think about what this has done to Dad.
I’ve never seen him so sad.

Your illness has torn us all to shreds,
It’s ***** up everyone’s heads.

I don’t want that one day goes too far,
Find you dead on fumes in your car.

So much of our days are spent worrying for you.
How much more will you put us through?

I hope that you go and get yourself out of this ditch for good,
Stop yourself from being so misunderstood.

Forget about your past and what you’ve always been told,
Stay with it and let the rest of your life unfold.

Please stop bearing this big heavy cross,
Stop grieving all of your loss.

The past can’t be changed; the future isn’t in stone,
I promise Mom; you’re not all alone.

Shattered children are now unstable adults,
Get some help with real results.

I can’t keep doing this anymore I know they can’t either,
I think it’s time we all take a breather.

We won’t give up on you, but remember all that we lose,
Don’t continue this ugly cycle of abuse.

24 years of this hell;
Nobody I could tell.

Please stop these years from going on anymore,
Please just remember all of those you care for.

Your poem Broken Child's Cry is very sincere as in wanting an escape from a party of someone who seems not understanding. This poem you wrote tends to start out someone who is trying to understand my life but Failer To Comunicate. As In No More Tears This Is How Doves Cry Am I Goin Insain just let go or let go of me until one procides to another. As in Damage Incorperated Thank You from The Grim Reaper KnownAs LORD.Denver L. try TheGrimReapersHourglass-titled The Grim Reapers(Reepers)Hourglass Rock And Roll Past To Future.
