Sometimes I think that I'll never be complete.
I feel scattered and useless with nothing to put me back together.
I used to feel whole and complete,
But that was before I met you.
I used to be able to walk on my own two feet,
But then you waltzed into my life and swept them out from under me.
I used to be able to shout my joy from the rooftops,
But then you stole my voice and left a shattered croak behind.
I feel like a puzzle that's missing some pieces.
You don't notice them at first until you finish and they're not there.
The savage beast inside you has torn me asunder and left nothing but ashes behind.
Now I sit and stare out this window into the dismal dawn and wonder,
Am I still me?
Or was I just one of your lost puzzle pieces?
